食性:肉食性

棲息於沿岸岩礁區或礁砂交錯處，亦常進入河口沼澤區域活動。具有群居性，產卵期為11-2月；幼魚棲息於河口，隨著成長棲地逐漸移向海域。以無脊椎動物為食，特別是軟體動物。

 

Inhabits coastal waters, usually entering estuaries and often in schools. Adults spawn on November to next February. Juveniles in estuaries move into deeper water with growth. Feeds on benthic invertebrates, mainly mollusks and aquatic macrophytes.
